Part 91-Only G-650 Joins Management Roster

Elite Air has added a coveted G-6 to its management fleet. The Gulfstream 650 is based in Toronto, Canada, but unavailable for charter at this time.

“Elite Air is an aircraft management company, and charter is only one of the services we offer,” Elite Air President AJ Becker said. “For folks out there operating their own aircraft who do not want to charter to defray their costs, we still provide invaluable services and savings.”

In addition to charter sales, Elite Air’s management services include tax and financial consulting, operations direction, maintenance direction, chief pilot services, and accounting. The company achieves significant cost savings on fuel, training, insurance, and other areas. For example, Elite Air buys more than 1 million gallons of jet fuel annually, yielding economies of scale owner-operators cannot match.

According to company founder and CEO Gray Gibbs, Elite Air has “redefined aircraft management best practices” by making its process more transparent than any other industry operator. The company has retained its Argus Platinum rating, given only to the industry’s safest and most trusted operators, for more than a decade.

“Elite Air has been a management company since its very beginnings, and we have learned how to earn and maintain the trust of countless types of owners,” Gibbs said.

The Gulfstream 650 now under Elite Air management is based at Toronto Pearson International Airport and configured to seat 13 passengers. It was manufactured in 2010. The 650 offers a range of 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 6,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.90. The 650’s sister aircraft, the G650ER, holds the record for the farthest, fastest flight in business aviation history.

With more than 400 aircraft in service and 110-plus world speed records, the 650 family offers spacious interiors with up to four living areas and sleeps up to six passengers. The aircraft’s sleek wing increases its speed, range and efficiency, and its fly-by-wire technology is intended to offer a more comfortable flight than comparable airframes. The G650’s streamlined PlaneView display increases safety and reduces pilot workload.

“For anyone looking to purchase an aircraft for their own use only, the G650 is the ultimate in luxury,” Gibbs said. “So what’s it going to take to put you in one of these today?”
